Skills Jam
Graphic Designer, Animator, Photographer
This was a super fun project to be a part of. In order to tackle the skilled labor gap in America and attract young talent to the scene, the Skilled Careers Coalition created Skills Jam, a docuseries following the motivated young faces in the national SkillsUSA trade skills training organization.
"An electrifying docuseries follows high school students nationwide as they compete in video editing, filmmaking, game design, and construction at the SkillsUSA Conference in Atlanta. Witness their rollercoaster journey as they pursue dream careers. This is their story, our future!" (Skills Jam).
SkillsJam was a project I had a lot of enthusiasm for in particular because of how much I was pushed to create in ways I hadn't before. Shoutout to MO for bringing me on! I designed mailing boxes, built templates used by the SkillsJam team, took photos at the competitions, and even animated a bingo card.
JAMbassador Mailing Boxes
These mailing boxes were really fun, but really hard. The first thing like it I had ever done. I learned about dimensions, print standards, CMYK color design, all of it. Lots of emails were sent to lots of different teams asking a lot of different questions, but it all paid off in the end because I think they came out super fun.

Thanks to PM MO for showing me how cool it turned out :)
