SWIFA
Conference Club Liaison, Creative Director
Being an officer for the Southwest Intercollegiate Fencing Association (SWIFA) has continuously been one of the most rewarding experiences post-grad for me. I have been so lucky to be a part of the team that creates an truly unforgettable competitive experience for college students around the Southwest United States.
I'm the external guy on the team. I coordinate with the member universities, run our social media channels, and have built out infrastructure that allows the history of our conference to be recorded and shared down to every touch.
I really find so much value in supporting and creating content showcasing these athletes. I am so proud to show off my work for SWIFA.

It is so satisfying capturing these moments of triumph and passion for these fencers. Everyone celebrates a little differently, each team has their own culture, and don't even get me started on the rivalries. Also, horns always up 🤘
Graphic Design
The @southwestifa Instagram is really the place to check all the graphics out, but here's a little look into what I've been working on to get SWIFA as close to the SEC or B1G as I can.

The Conference Standings graphic is a regular piece of content that displays this page on our website, but in a fancy, designed way because I don't moderate the website.

Following the conclusion of the season, I calculated the top-nine fencers in each blade, just as a way of shouting out our athletes in news ways.

Introduction post to the SWIFA Instagram--swifagram, swinsta? There's something there.
